I am a qualified and experienced Supervisor, and am passionate about the Supervisory Relationship, and the essential support this provides for our Clinical work.
My aim is to always provide a safe, warm and accepting environment in which Counsellors can explore their work in the knowledge that they will not be judged. From this foundation, Supervisees feel safe enough to share their fears and ‘mistakes’.
My belief is that therapeutic work with clients is most effective when their own strengths and resources are elicited and explored – this approach is also reflected within my Supervision Practice – working from the stance that the Supervisee will find a way forward, given the right environment, guidance and support.
I keep updated with current research and the legal aspects of the Counselling, Psychotherapy and Helping Professions, which is helpful important within the Supervision arena.
I have a good understanding of the Supervisory requirements of Counsellors and Trainee Counsellors, within the BACP.
*Supervision Fees
£55 per one hour individual session
£75 per one and a half hour individual session
Group Supervision Fees to be arranged individually, depending on group size and length of session
I am happy to discuss and negotiate any specific supervisory arrangements with individual practitioners and/or groups/ organisations.
